    Meredith is no longer a hot babe to lust over. She should be doing grandma type stories.

    Women over 30 should not wear their hair in pigtails. Ellen Pompeo looks silly. It looks like the director was overly conscious of the age differences between the older woman and the younger men and is trying too hard to make Ellen Pompeo look "fun" and "youthful" but she would just look more attractive if she appeared as mature as her actual age. Even young girls look pretty bad in pigtails.

      Braids like that are also the easiest way to make sure all of your hair is up and not getting in your face! ( I braid mine like that all the time)

      It looks stupid and out of keeping with her character, Meredith Grey. It's like an elderly woman rocking a mini skirt and spaghetti top sleeves. It looks awful and bad on the character. There are alternatives to tying back her hair that are far more flattering: a bun, a twist. Plus, she's an actress not a real doctor so her hair isn't really an issue for her job. And it would look bad on an elderly man rocking short shorts or tight yoga leggings, too. It's not just older woman but anyone who doesn't dress their age. I just hate pigtails on any age, too.
