‘FBI’: Maggie Reunites With Undercover OA in Season 9 Premiere Photos — Plus, Who’s Her New Partner?

When FBI returns for Season 9 in October, the team’s going to look a bit different. Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) will have a new partner.

The CBS drama is back on Monday, October 5, at 8/7c (moving up an hour from last season), and Maggie’s usual partner, Omar Adom “OA” Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), will still be undercover. But the team must operate without him while he is, and that’s where Isaiah Green (Chicago Med‘s Roland Buck III) comes in. The network has released the first details and photos of the premiere.

In “Rendition,” CBS teases, “After a young traveler is found shot dead in a state park, the team discovers she was witness to an execution of a person involved in a top-secret government sponsored project. Meanwhile, Maggie struggles to bond with her new partner Isaiah Green (played by Roland Buck III) and OA adjusts to a new role.” Plus, CIA‘s Necar Zadegan guest stars as Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard. The photos, which you can see below, show Maggie and OA together again during his undercover assignment, as well as Nikki with Jubal (Jeremy Sisto), Maggie with her new partner, and more.

In the Season 8 finale last spring, OA pushed back against ADIC Green’s (Curtiss Cook) orders to move on from the shady Anna Vorpe (Claire Coffee) and her team taking the serum that would have saved a bus full of passengers exposed to a deadly biochemical. He was fired as a result, but after, it was revealed that it was part of a plan by him, Maggie, and Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza) to set him up for Anna to approach him with a spot in her unit.

After, showrunner Mike Weiss confirmed to TV Insider that Zaki wasn’t going anywhere. “But we might see him standing in some different rooms at the beginning of Season 9, which I think will be really exciting. Letting him and the show shake things up at the top of Season 9. We’re really excited to see him deep undercover in a different way,” he added.
