‘Chicago Med’ Finale: Charles’ Daughter Is Hospitalized, Plus a ‘Fire’ Crossover (PHOTOS)
The Chicago Med Season 10 finale is going to be very personal for Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt). Just after he had to bury his mother, one of his daughters is going to be brought in as a patient.
The promo for the Wednesday, May 21, finale, titled, “…Don’t You Cry,” reveals that Anna (Hannah Riley) is hospitalized after a car accident. Chicago Fire paramedics Violet (Hanako Greensmith) and Novak (Jocelyn Hudon) are the ones to bring her in. Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) immediately recognizes Anna and calls for someone to alert Dr. Charles.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Washington (John Earl Jelks) says he made a mistake, and Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) says it hurt her deeply, and Frost (Darren Barnet) faces off with a distraught parent (Sam Trammell) with a gun. Watch the video above, then scroll down to see the photos from the episode, which also tease Hannah (Jessy Schram) possibly at least thinking about talking to her sister Lizzy (Erin Anderson) and her ex-boyfriend Ripley (Luke Mitchell) about her pregnancy.
Also in “…Don’t You Cry,” Goodwin is tasked with enforcing difficult cuts to hospital personnel, and a transplant patient makes a life-changing decision.
The good news is that however Med caps off its 10th season, we know that it will be back. NBC renewed the drama earlier in May; it will be bringing back the full One Chicago lineup for the 2025-2026 season to continue taking over Wednesday nights. While we know that Fire will be saying goodbye to two of its cast (Daniel Kyri and Jake Lockett), there haven’t been announcements of any exits from Med.
