In June, Sherwood was cast in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, the upcoming “spiritual successor” to the 2014 Showtime horror series. Per TVLine, he’ll play a “chauffeur and bodyguard” with an “unexpected depth and surprising background.”

Isaiah Mustafa (Luke Garroway)
Mustafa, who went from football player to Old Spice pitchman to Shadowhunters star, played the adult Mike Hanlon in this year’s It Chapter Two, which earned more than $470 million worldwide.

Harry Shum Jr. (Magnus Bane)
Shum, who’s also known for his fancy footwork on Glee, appeared in this year’s film Escape Plan: The Extractors opposite Sylvester Stallone and 50 Cent and in this year’s Burn opposite Josh Hutcherson. He’ll also reportedly appear in the forthcoming Crazy Rich Asians sequel — following his cameo in the 2018 box office hit — and he’ll guest-star in the upcoming Comedy Central show Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens.

Alisha Wainwright (Maia Roberts)
Wainwright is probably the Shadowhunters star who has made the most headlines lately, for better or worse. She stars in the Netflix sci-fi drama Raising Dion, and she’s currently filming the big-screen drama Palmer with Justin Timberlake, whose hand she was spotted holding in November.
It’s been half a year since Freeform’s Shadowhunters ended its three-season run, meaning withdrawal is probably kicking in for many of the supernatural series’ fans. Happily, many of the cast members have kept busy in Hollywood, landing juicy roles on screens big and small.
