Best Lines of the Week (August 4-10): ‘It’s OK to Like It’

What a great week of TV for the start of the new month.

This week, we saw two fan-favorite shows make a return to the small screen. Only Murders in the Building introduced us to a new murder to be solved. Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd joined the star-studded cast, as two actors in Oliver’s (Martin Short) new play. The final season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series featured a nostalgic reunion of original movie cast members — what a blast from the past!

Tensions heated up during The Bachelorette when Charity Lawson had to send home one of the final three men due to hidden truths being revealed. The Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge wrapped up this week; we got to see the full, real-life Barbie Dreamhouse in its entirety, and we wish we were living in it. The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup got intense with Team USA barely making it through to the knockout rounds and then a few days later getting eliminated after a shocking defeat by Sweden. The team’s former captain had some strong words to say about that.
