Ranking the Best ‘Bachelorette’ Proposals in Recent Years (PHOTOS)
It’s no secret The Bachelorette has had more success creating long-lasting relationships and marriages than The Bachelor. And it’s always fun to take a look back at the former couples, whether they’re still together or not.
While some proposals had us wiping tears from our eyes — yeah, we’re not afraid to admit it! — others have made us cringe just a tad.

5. Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt (Season 15)
Do we really need to explain this one? Not only did Hannah pick Jed over Tyler Cameron — who was clearly the better choice, sorry not sorry! — this engagement was clouded with drama. News of Jed having a girlfriend back home broke weeks before the finale aired, and most fans knew these two didn’t stand a chance.
4. Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen (Season 14)
Becca and Garrett’s undeniable chemistry and their love for one another certainly won the viewers over. However, part of Garrett’s speech to Becca did feel a tad scripted, though we’re not going to hold it against him.
3. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo (Season 13)
While they didn’t grab the top spot for romantic proposal, Rachel and Bryan are the winners for the Windiest Proposal of All Time. They were so excited to get engaged and we love how happy they both look, but the reason they’re not higher is because Bryan surprisingly doesn’t say very much. We can’t blame him though, we’d be speechless around Rachel, too!
2. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth (Season 11)
Kaitlyn and Shawn didn’t last, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t love each other for a very long time. In fact, their proposal is so dang sweet we can overlook the fact they’re no longer together. Shawn is obviously nervous about proposing and Kaitlyn looks over the moon.
1. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers (Season 12)
There’s just something really special between JoJo and Jordan, and it’s obvious in the couple’s proposal. JoJo only had eyes for Jordan the entire season, and their proposal is sweet, emotional, and a little all over the place (which is perfect). While we wait for these two to officially tie the knot (hopefully this year!), we like to rewatch this one and get a little emotional.
