Former Smallville actress Allison Mack was released from jail and into the custody of her parents on Tuesday after posting a $5 million bond, and she will remain under house arrest at her family’s home when she returns to California.

The 35-year-old was spotted leaving a federal court house in Brooklyn, New York.

Mack was charged last Friday with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy in connection with running an alleged sex cult sub-group within NXIVM (Nexium), a “self help” organization led by Keith Raniere. She faces up to 15 years in prison, and has reportedly pleaded “not guilty” to the charges.

Raniere was arrested in March in Mexico and charged with the same three counts.
