‘Gotham’ Goodies: First Look at Diamond Select’s New Wave of Toys

Just in time for the return of Gotham next Monday (8/7c, Fox), Diamond Select Toys is ready to unveil their latest line of fun stuff tied-to the pre-Batman adventures of Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

First up is the Series 2 in their Minimates line, a 4-piece box set featuring teeny tiny versions of Bruce Wayne, Selina Kyle, Alfred and Oswald Cobblepot that retails for $24.99. Even though they’re only two inches tall, each figure boasts at least 10 points of articulation and interchangeable parts. So you can finally see what Robin Lord Taylor would look like with Camren Bicondova’s head.

In addition, the company has added to their 7-inch action figure collection with impressive reproductions of Alfred, who comes with the Wayne Manor fireplace; Edward Nygma and his desk; and Harvey Bullock, packaged with an alleyway dumpster set (which connects to the piece included with the previously released Jim Gordon figure.) These guys are sold separately at $24.99, and yes, they look badass on any desk.

Finally, and in keeping with the pint-sized Gotham theme, there will be two show-inspired pint glasses at $10.99 each. One is emblazoned with the GCPD emblem, since you’d have to drink on the job at that place; the other bears the skeletal logo from Fish Mooney’s bar, making it that much easier to pour one out for our fallen gangstress.
