ABC Officially Orders Kiefer Sutherland-Led ‘Designated Survivor’ to Series

ABC has granted an official series order to new drama, Designated Survivor.

The series follows Tom Kirkman (played by Kiefer Sutherland), a lower cabinet member who is thrust into the presidency after an attack on Washington. Kirkman will attempt to keep the country (and his own life) together in the aftermath.

Designated Survivor also stars Natascha McElhone, Maggie Q, Kal Penn, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, and Tanner Buchanan. The series was created by David Guggenheim, and produced by Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios.
