Person of Interest star Sarah Shahi has solved the first of many mysteries!

As reported by TV Line, CBS has announced that Shahi has been cast as Nancy Drew in the new upcoming drama series Drew, a modern (and more mature) take on the iconic character from Carolyn Keene mystery books. The series will focus on a now 30-something Drew who works as a detective for the NYPD, solving crimes by way of her unbeatable observational skills.

Anthony Edwards (ER) has already been cast as Drew’s father and Felix Solis (The Good Wife) as her NYPD boss. Graceland‘s Vanessa Ferlito will also be joining as a fellow NYPD detective.

Although Shahi has returned to POI for its shortened fifth season, the actress’s Drew deal probably means the chances for a POI Season 6 renewal may be slim.
