Jane Fonda Reveals the Truth About Her 'Barbarella' Striptease on 'GMA Day' (VIDEO)
Jane Fonda's career has spanned decades and the actress/activist is nothing short of iconic.
While appearing on GMA's new third hour, GMA Day, to promote her new HBO documentary, Jane Fonda in Five Acts, she chatted with co-hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines about filming 1968 fantasy/action movie Barbarella, and the truth behind that famous striptease scene.
They also released sneak peeks at 'Veep,' 'Barry,' 'The Deuce,' and more.
Fonda admitted that, in order to perform the dance and take off her clothes, she needed a little liquid courage. "I was so nervous about doing this striptease where I end up naked that I drank a lot of vodka," she joked. "I was drunk out of my mind and kind of moving to the song."
But then, a setback in production caused her to have to film the whole thing all over again! Unfortunately, this time around, Fonda has "a major hangover."
