Just what is OA (Zeeko Zaki) up to undercover when FBI Season 9 begins?!

The trailer certainly makes it seem like there could be quite the twist coming, though it could also simply be cut to make it look that way. When Season 8 ended, OA set himself up to be fired so he could go undercover in the shady unit run by Anna (Claire Coffee). With the Monday, October 5, premiere, we’re going to see just what he’s up to there, and the new video offers a tease.

As you can see below, OA is in danger, but he’s not the only one. There’s an explosion, plus Maggie (Missy Peregrym) is on a helicopter when she reports, “We’ve been hit!”

She later notes, “That team came prepared. They knew our weaknesses,” and Isobel (Alana De La Garza0 wonders, “Who are they?” The end of the video teases a twist and Maggie coming up on one of the team … revealed to be OA?!

In the Season 9 premiere, titled “Rendition,” CBS teases, “After a young traveler is found shot dead in a state park, the team discovers she was witness to an execution of a person involved in a top-secret government-sponsored project. Meanwhile, Maggie struggles to bond with her new partner, Isaiah Green (played by Roland Buck III), and OA adjusts to a new role.”

Zaki confirmed to us that OA’s undercover assignment will last more than one episode. “He’s finding his groove, but it takes a while before you really feel that from him. I think the most challenging part is not having his partner there with him, while also making sure he doesn’t get too sucked into the world he’s living in undercover,” he teased.

So, it sounds like it’ll be a good thing that OA crosses paths with Maggie when he does … especially with what the preview suggests is going on.
