See the First Images From Netflix’s ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ (PHOTOS)
They’re here! The first images from Netflix’s highly anticipated Chilling Adventures of Sabrina have arrived.
Set in the same universe as the CW hit Riverdale, this new iteration of Sabrina sees former Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka take on the iconic title role. After months of teasing and a recent poster release, the streaming service is giving fans a sneak peek into the upcoming dark re-telling of Sabrina Spellman’s story.
Below, two images give some insight into the series set to debut October 26. According to Netflix, the first image comes from a scene depicting the “dark Baptism of Sabrina.” Pictured are Shipka as Sabrina, Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, and Abigail Cowan Adeline Rudolph, and Tati Gabrielle as The Weird Sisters.
The second photo is simply of Shipka as Sabrina donning red — a color that seems to be a motif for the character in this version from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Writer Aguirre-Sacasa is also executive producing alongside Riverdale collaborators Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater, and Lee Toland Krieger.
With the show’s debut only just over two months away, there’s still plenty of time for more content like this to be released from a trailer to more photos!
