‘Riverdale’ Cast Hints at Season 3’s New Big Bad, What’s Next for Choni & More Casualties (VIDEO)

The Black Hood mystery may have been solved, but don’t expect things to be smooth sailing for the Riverdale crew in Season 3.
While in the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine’s Comic-Con 2018 video suite last weekend, some of the cast — Lili Reinhart, Madchen Amick, Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, and Skeet Ulrich — chatted with our Emily Aslanian about what to expect when the show returns in October, and it sounds like a doozy.
With the Black Hood vanquished, Reinhart teases that the new Big Bad is actually an “epidemic in Riverdale,” which serves as the central mystery of next season. She and on-screen mom Amick also hinted at how the Cooper women will handle Hal being revealed as a serial killer. Spoiler Alert: They don’t handle it well.
Also in our chat, Cott shares what’s next for Kevin, Sprouse reveals they’re casting Jughead’s sister Jellybean, and Reinhart says there are more deaths on the way — yikes! And listen up, shippers: Now that Toni and Cheryl are both Serpents, are you wondering what that will mean for Choni? Sounds like it’ll be good for their relationship but not so good for Cheryl and Jughead…
