‘Shadowhunters’ Midseason Finale: Kat McNamara Talks Clary’s Death Sentence (VIDEO)

On last week’s Shadowhunters, Clary (Katherine McNamara) finally faced the Clave — and spilled the beans on using the Shadowhunters’ one big wish to bring Jace (Dominic Sherwood) back from the dead. Let’s just say, they didn’t take it too well.
Now, poor Clary has been sentenced to death and is in desperate need of a rescue. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if homegirl didn’t just go ahead and rescue herself after the badass rune-drawing skills she’s been exhibiting this season.
TV Insider sat down with McNamara to talk about what a death sentence from the Clave looks like (basically horrifying) and what’s in store for the rest of the Shadowhunter and Downworlder gang as they prepare to face off against the literal Queen of Hell, Lilith (Anna Hopkins). One thing’s for certain, it’s going to be one hell of a two-hour midseason finale.
