We’re not in Shondaland anymore, Toto.

With her Grey’s days in the past, Sandra Oh is forging a new future as the star of your new espionage addiction, Killing Eve. Calling her character “a spy with a handbag,” the Golden Globe-winner is absolutely charming and impressively kick-ass as Eve Polastri, an MI-5 security operative who is drawn into the hunt for a sociopathic assassin named Villanelle (Jodie Comer of The White Princess).

More of a desk-jockey than a Jason Bourne, the often-irreverent Eve’s innate but untapped skills come out—and cause serious chaos for her domestic life—as she cat-and-mouses Villanelle throughout the globe-hopping miniseries.

And since it was written by Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge (based on the novellas by Luke Jennings), you can expect a healthy dose of dark comedy along with the action. Oh herself teases as much in the below video—plus, she shares how she reacted to the script and what we can expect from her new gig.
