Mike & Molly canceled after 6 seasons, co-star announces on Facebook
Rondi Reed, who plays Mike’s mom Peggy, has put up a Facebook post announcing that upcoming sixth season, which is scheduled to premiere on Jan. 6, will be the CBS comedy’s last. She also writes that the final season has been reduced from 22 to 13 episodes. “We are done taping as of January 27th 2016 and I am not sure exactly when/if the episodes will all be aired,” she wrote. CBS has yet to confirm if Mike & Molly is indeed ending.
