Peter Kraus is making a reality TV comeback. Hearts across America broke when The Bachelorette runner-up (who vied for Rachel Lindsay’s heart) wasn’t cast as the next Bachelor star. That role went to Arie Luyendyk Jr. instead. But alas, we’ll get to see those eyes and that gap-toothed smile again as ABC just announced Kraus has been added to the cast of The Bachelor Winter Games.

Executive producer, Mike Fleiss, confirmed the news on Twitter writing, “Yes, Peter will be looking for love– and going for the gold– on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!”

The premise of the Bachelor spin-off pits former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants against each other in a series of winter-inspired games and challenges that test their athletic abilities. Of course, the cameras also follow the contestants behind closed doors as they romance each other. The show is slated to air in February right in time for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
