ABC Developing Comedy Based on Sean Combs and His Real-Life Assistant
The man alternately known as Puff Daddy, Puffy, Diddy, and P. Diddy may soon have a new title: Sitcom producer.
Sean Combs is developing The Hustle (working title), a comedy for ABC based on the life of Sarah Snedeker, his long-time right-hand woman and assistant. Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer) will write and direct, while Stacey Harman (The Goldbergs) is also writing.
The character in The Hustle, like Snedeker, is described as “a small-town girl lands a job working as an assistant to a street-educated billionaire business mogul where she is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.”

Combs will executive produce with Garelick and Harman. Snedeker will also get a credit as a consultant and producer. ABC Studios is producing; the show has a script order with substantial penalty attached if it doesn’t move forward.
Combs is known mostly for his work in music producing, as a hip-hop artist and as an actor. But he has also produced several TV and film projects over the years. His TV credits include executive producing reality series such as Making the Band, Run’s House, Daddy’s Girls and If I Were King.
