The Woodsmen, “101” (Monday, June 22, 9/8c, History)

It’s a common fantasy for the nine-to-fiver:  escape the mundanity of modern living and go off the grid. History’s new reality series The Woodsmen follows five men who have managed to turn that fantasy into a reality. The guys have taken to the forests of the Pacific Northwest, where they’ve build shelters by hand, hunt the local wildlife and forage for natural edibles. Among the men are best friends Ethan and Aza, who have built a tree house-like structure 25 feet off the ground, along with a bike-powered elevator and zip lines. None of it comes easy, but hey—no electric bill!
