Pawn Stars, “Expert Examinations” and “Pawn of the Jedi” (Thursday, June 5, 9/8c and 9:30/8:30c, History)

Perhaps the most anticipated movie of the year is the latest Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, which hits theaters in December. One imagines Toys”R”Us is already clearing out entire aisles to make way for the merchandise. How appropriate then that this week’s Pawn Stars features an item grown Star Wars fans would clamor for: a draft of the original film’s script, signed by none other than George Lucas. When it comes to getting their hands on it, Rick and Chum are probably wishing they had a spare light saber on their side.

But first, a new compilation episode will look back at some of the series’ greatest expert examinations. The people who really know their stuff will authenticate such rare items as a signed Babe Ruth bat and glove, strategic plans from the Battle of Iwo Jima, and a Book of Mormon. Unfortunately, we’re referring to the actual book, not a performance of the perennially sold out musical.
