What’s Worth Watching: Deep Web Goes Deep
Deep Web (Sunday, May 31, 8/7c, Epix)
When Silk Road popped up on the Dark Web in 2011, as a black market for just about any illegal good or service you could think up, it quickly drew the attention of various law enforcement agencies. Three years later, they caught one of the founders red-handed at his computer: 30-year-old entrepreneur Ross Ulbricht, who was subsequently convicted on various counts of drug trafficking and money laundering. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure star and documentarian Alex Winter has created a fascinating film about the creation and destruction of Silk Road, narrated by pal Keanu Reeves.
