Thrillseekers, grab a notepad. As part of the kick-off to Travel Channel’s annual “We Are Summer” programming, the network will air the entirety of a new show, 101 Amazing Thrills, this afternoon. The five-hour event will count down the biggest adrenaline rushes found ’round the world, from strapping into a 149-miles per hour roller coaster in Abu Dhabi to boarding down the tallest sand dunes in America.
The series begins with a massive water slide in Phoenix, Ariz., ranking at number 101 on the list. The Constrictor, based in the Wet ‘n’ Wild water park, sends its victims on rafts through a terrifying tunnel of corkscrew turns before burping them out into a splashy pool.
