Katic has inked a one-year deal to stay on the ABC series for Season 8.

ABC's fall schedule puts The Muppets on Tuesdays, Don Johnson's Oil on Sundays
Ken Jeong's Dr. Ken will air on Fridays after Last Man Standing, while Fresh Off the Boat will move half an hour to air after The Muppets, which will be shown Tuesdays at 8.
