ABC’s fall schedule puts The Muppets on Tuesdays, Don Johnson’s Oil on Sundays
Ken Jeong’s Dr. Ken will air on Fridays after Last Man Standing, while Fresh Off the Boat will move half an hour to air after The Muppets, which will be shown Tuesdays at 8. Meanwhile, ABC is keeping Wednesdays and Thursdays intact, while saving Uncle Buck and Shonda Rhimes’ The Catch for midseason. PLUS: ABC boss wants Castle and Grey’s Anatomy to run for “many, many seasons to come,” Season 2 of American Crime will tell a different story in a different location with some actors returning in different roles, ABC promises “a grown-up Muppets,” and the Agents of SHIELD spinoff is not dead (ABC didn’t want to lose the new additions who helped Agents of SHIELD hit its stride.)
