The Cast of ‘A.D.: The Bible Begins’ on Seeing Signs of the Divine on Set (VIDEO)

A.D. The Bible Continues kicked off last night, but the cast and creators of the miniseries sat down with us earlier to talk about the behind-the-scenes secrets of the show, which “starts with the crucifixion of Jesus and tells how the 11 remaining disciples bring down the Roman Empire,” according to Roma Downey, who is the executive producer alongside her husband Mark Burnett.

Here, the stars talk about signs of the divine on set (including a triple rainbow), the challenges of filming in Morocco (the show looks gritty for a reason), and some of the hardships of the times (“Running in sandals is an absolute bugger,” says Adam Levy, who plays Peter.)
