Penny Dreadful
Returns 10/9c, Showtime
The Victorian-era horror saga Penny Dreadful ended with a megashock last season when it was revealed that Wild West sharpshooter Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) can sprout fur and killer fangs. Yes, he's an American werewolf in London! In our Q&A, Hartnett previews the howling good time to come.

Premieres on Netflix

9 to 5 costars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin play ­frenemies whose husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) leave them...for each other.

Texas Rising
Premieres on History Channel
The eight-part miniseries chronicles the rise of the Lone Star State with a cast that includes Bill Paxton, Chad Michael Murray, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Brendan Fraser, and Ray Liotta, among many others. From Wild West to Texas Revolution, the series will pay homage to Sam Houston, Santa Anna, and the post-Alamo battles that set history in motion.
