What’s Worth Watching: American Dad’s Big Hollywood Break

American Dad!, “A Star is Reborn” (Monday, March 16, 9/8c, TBS)

You would think masculine and patriotic CIA officer Stan Smith would be against the idea of vacationing in a land of liberal hippies such as Los Angeles. But while taking in the sights and the stars, Stan befriends an actress from the time of old Hollywood who is convinced he is the reincarnation of her dead husband. Stan has no choice but to play along and embody the spirit of classic actor Leonard Prince. If the CIA gig doesn’t work out, maybe Stan has a chance on the big screen. Meanwhile, tasked with watching the kids, alien Roger decides to implement an unconventional method on Steve and Hayley: kennel training. Talk about keeping them on a short leash!
