What’s Worth Watching: Portlandia

Portlandia, “Fashion” (Thursday, Feb. 12, 10/9c, IFC

Now in its fifth season, IFC’s sketch series Portlandia is never lacking in guest stars, but tonight’s episode features a face normally hidden behind the camera. When Spyke (Fred Armisen) begins producing and selling unlicensed t-shirts and merchandise featuring Bart Simpson, The Simpsons creator himself Matt Groening pays a visit to the court. From there, it’s an impassioned and hilarious fight between the Oregon bicyclist and the mastermind behind television’s most successful cartoon of all time. D’oh!
