Sylvester Stallone Makes Blunt Nepotism Confession About Daughter in ‘Tulsa King’
Sylvester Stallone made a blunt confession about nepotism and his daughter Scarlet Stallone‘s role in Tulsa King.
In an October interview with USA Today, the Rocky star, 80, addressed the idea of “nepo babies” in the entertainment industry.
His daughter, Scarlet, 24, plays Spencer — a former barista and stable hand at Fennario Ranch — in the Paramount+ series. She first appeared in Tulsa King in Season 1 Episode 2 as a recurring character but has since become a show regular.
“First they go, ‘Nepotism is terrible,’” Sylvester pointed out. “I said, ‘Oh please, you’re not a good parent if you haven’t performed a little nepotism. Then obviously you don’t care about your kids, because they come first.’”
He then declared, “‘Of course it’s nepotism, you idiot. That’s why we’re parents. We want the best for our children. So obviously we let them have every advantage.’”

Still, Sylvester pointed out that it’s up to his children to keep the opportunities provided through nepotism.
“Can they maintain that level of excellence? That’s out of our hands,” he stressed. “But if you can open the door, we’ll see if they have the ability to go through it.”
Sylvester is a father of five. He welcomed two sons, Sage Stallone and Seargeoh Stallone, with his first wife, Sasha Czack, 76, and three daughters, Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, and Scarlet, with his current wife, Jennifer Flavin, 58. Tragically, Sage died in 2012 at age 36 after a heart attack.
In addition to Scarlet’s role in Tulsa King, Sage starred as Robert Balboa Jr. alongside his famous father in Rocky V, while Seargeoh, 47, played newborn Rocky Jr. in Rocky II. Sage also had acting credits in Daylight (1996), Promises Written in Water (2010), and The Agent (2010). Meanwhile, Sistine, 28, appeared in the films 47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019) and Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021).
Although Sophia, 30, is not an actress, she, her sisters, and their parents appeared in the reality TV show The Family Stallone for two seasons from 2023 to 2024.
Tulsa King, new episodes drop on Fridays at midnight ET on Paramount+

Scarlette Stallone has the chops as an actress. No nepotism there.
