‘Celebrity Weakest Link’ Contestants Are Frighteningly Good at Answering Questions

It’s fright night on Celebrity Weakest Link, and these contestants are scarily good at answering clues. In an exclusive clip, celebrities who have starred in Halloween-based movies answer questions asked by host Jane Lynch.

Linda Blair, Kimberly J. Brown, Kane Hodder, Heather Langenkamp, Heather Matarazzo, Cassandra Peterson, Mekhi Phifer (I Know What You Did Last Summer),and Mena Suvari are all competing on the Monday, October 12 episode for money for their charities. This makes it an extra spooky Monday night on Foc, as Celebrity Name That Tune is also airing their first Halloween episode.

In the clip, Halloweentown star Brown correctly answers that “B” is the silent letter in “dumb.” Elvira star Peterson then knew that a doctor takes the Hippocratic Oath.

American Horror Story actress Suvari knew that a waiter would give someone an amuse-bouche rather than a doctor. Her fellow scary movie contestants couldn’t help but laugh. Friday the 13th actor Hodder knew that “redrum,” which was popularized by The Shining, is “murder” spelled backwards.

However, A Nightmare on Elm Street star Lagenkamp did not know that Leatherface uses a chainsaw to massacre people. Blair, who starred in The Exorcist, could only remember part of the name of the legend that Ichabod Crane appeared in.

In another clip, Matarazzo correctly knew the popular Gen-Z hand movements to “6,7.” Although she is best known for The Princess Diaries movies, Matarazzo did star in the Scream franchise. Brown answered her second question correctly. Blair redeemed herself when she knew that pesto sauce was green.
