‘Celebrity Weakest Link’: Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young Breaks Chain & Costs Team $25,000

Nick “Swaggy P” Young might be good at basketball, but he’s not too sure how to play Celebrity Weakest Link. He cost his team $25,000 and broke the chain on a Hawaiian question.

The “Ballers” episode on Monday, October 5, features Tiki Barber, Brandi Chastain, Michael Irvin, Jonathan Papelbon, Jalen Rose, Nick Swisher, Sheryl Swoopes, and Young. The athletes will work together to try to raise money for their charities by answering general knowledge questions.

Irvin starts off the episode by correctly answering “potatoes” for “What is the main ingredient in hash browns?” Swisher then correctly answers “extra large” for “What does the XL abbreviation stand for?” Neither of the men bank, but the pot stands at $3,000.

Papelbon is shown a video on his screen. “What obstacles are keeping this guy from running way faster?” He answers with “Hurdles,” giving the team more money.

Barber correctly answers “Kiss” to “Kiss or Tell: Which is a rock band with guys in crazy makeup?” Chastain gets the question “What f-word does my dentist nag me about doing every day to remove plaque?”She correctly answers with “floss.”

Swoopes’ question was, “If Jack Black got blackjack, his hand would be worth how many points?” She correctly answered with 21.

The $10,000 question was on the line when it came to Swaggy. They only needed to answer this and the $25,000 question correctly to run the chain and collect the money.

His question was, “What ‘L’ word is the term for a Hawaiian floral necklace?” He hits his button and says, “Bank!”

Host Jane Lynch let him know it was a lei. This caused the chain to go back to $0. See how the rest of their game plays out on the all-new episode.
