Newest ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Teaser Signals Trouble for Ndugu & Millin
What To Know
- Could another Grey Sloan couple be in trouble?
- The description for Episode 3 sure sounds that way.
Could another relationship be in trouble this season on Grey’s Anatomy? It sure sounds that way, based on the official description for Season 23’s third episode, which hints at conflict ahead for Jules Millin (Adelaide Kane) and Winston Ndugu (Anthony Hill).
ABC has revealed that Episode 3 (airing October 29) will be titled “It’s All Wrong, But It’s All Right,” and the logline for the segment tells us, “As Blue [Harry Shum Jr.] fights to reclaim his place at Grey Sloan, Jo [Camilla Luddington] is pulled from motherhood back into the OR. Jules and Winston’s relationship remains strained, and Bailey [Chandra Wilson] struggles to find her footing as a student.”
Coming into the season, we already knew that Benson “Blue” Kwan would have what showrunner Meg Marinis exclusively teased was “a long road to go in terms of regaining Richard’s [James Pickens Jr.] trust again.” We also knew that Jo, who’s dealing with postpartum PTSD, will “question her career through this and how she chooses to parent,” while Bailey will have learn to “manage school, her work as a doctor, and her personal life.” However, this bit about Millin and Ndugu’s upcoming struggle is definitely new.
In the trailer for Season 23, the two are briefly shown getting hot and heavy, and in a separate teaser, Ndugu is confronted by Ben Warren (Jason George) after he sees the two exiting an on-call room together, warning, “Come clean, and get ahead of it.”
So what trouble lies in store for the new couple? We’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, a new elevator-centric teaser for the new season (below) features Millin and Ndugu, among other couples, as they quickly break apart from an embrace when the doors open. Also featured in this social media tease are Toni Wright (Jen Landon) and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) sharing an awkward silence, Blue carrying a box full of his things and mean-mugging Richard, Wes Bryant (Trevor Jackson) and Simone Griffith (Alexis Floyd) sharing a smile, Lucas Adams (Niko Terho) looking lonely and perturbed, Ben and Bailey having a flirty word, and Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) and Jo looking forlorn until they share a warm hug.
this elevator needs to write a tell-all 👀
