HGTV Fans React After ‘100 Day Dream Home’ Hosts Post Cryptic Message

HGTV fans are excited that 100 Day Dream Home could be coming back soon after host Brian Kleinschmidt‘s posted a cryptic message online.

Brian and his wife, Mika, became popular among HGTV fans when their show premiered in 2020. There have been seven seasons of the Florida-based series. Will there be a Season 8?

In 100 Day Dream Home, the couple teams up and helps clients build and design their dream home in just a little over three months. Season 7 ended in March 2026.

“‘If you want the rainbow…you gotta put up with the rain.’ ~Dolly Parton~” Brian captioned the post on September 27. But it was the last part of the caption that had fans excited. “One week away from filming our ‘next rainbow.’ #HGTV #StayTuned #BackAtIt.”

The post featured the couple sitting on the edge of a dock, smiling at each other, with a rainbow behind them. Someone snapped a picture of them from a few feet away.

Although he didn’t explicitly say that the show was coming back, the “back at it” seemed to be a big hint that 100 Day Dream Home is returning for another season.

“Looking forward to it!” one fan said.

“Miss you both! Can’t wait,” another commented.

“Great to hear!” a third added.

Kleinschmidt also left another hint in July that the show was coming back. “When On Site and On Set are the same place. Exciting new things are ‘under construction,'” he captioned the post. Both he and Mika posed on a wall with beams of a house behind them.

“Another season of 100 Day Dream Home?” a fan asked.

“Perhaps,” Kleinschmidt replied.

There has been no official confirmation from HGTV about the show’s renewal, but Kleinschmidt’s posts seem to point to a renewal. The Florida-based developer and realtor were the Season 2 winners of the competition show Rock The Block.
