What To Know

  • Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt teased one of their upcoming HGTV projects via social media.
  • Fans speculated if the post was a hint that 100 Day Dream Home was renewed for a new season.
  • Brian and Mika will appear as judges on the upcoming HGTV series Totally ’90s House, which premieres next month.

Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt are currently booked and busy, and they seemingly dropped a hint about one of their projects currently in the works.

“When On Site and On Set are the same place,” Brian captioned a Wednesday, July 22, Instagram post. “Exciting new things are ‘under construction.'” The upload featured a photo of Brian and Mika sporting matching all-blue outfits at a construction site.

The couple did not confirm what project the set photo was from. However, it is possible the duo hinted that their flagship HGTV series, 100 Day Dream Home, could be returning for a new season. The show’s most recent season premiered in September 2025 and wrapped up in March.

“Another season of 100 day dream home? @mrbreakinground & @mikamakesmoves,” one fan commented underneath the post. Brian fueled the fan’s theory by responding, “Perhaps…”

Someone else shared, “I was just thinking this morning that I can’t wait until 100 Day Dream Home has new episodes!! You two are awesome!” Another fan wrote, “Looking forward to the new season!!” A different person posted, “I’m looking forward to the new season cause I will be taking the day off, turn off phone, grab snacks and a blanket so there is no distractions.”

Other fans just shared their excitement to see Brian and Mika back on the small screen soon. “These 2 are soooooo much fun to watch and they do incredible work. Wish I could have them build our house, unfortunately we don’t live in Florida…darn,” one commenter stated. Another added, “I wish you could break my ground and build my dream home in 100 days.”

A separate commenter gushed, “You two do amazing work!! Such a beautiful couple and team. I’ve loved watching you guys build everything from your homes, homes in 100 days and the smart home. It would be a dream come true to have a home built by you guys.” (HGTV has not confirmed if 100 Day Dream Home has been renewed for another season.)

The couple’s new set photo could also be a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming HGTV series Totally ’90s House. The show, which was announced earlier this month, will follow celebrity teams “as they scour the country for houses stuck in the 1990s — think honey oak cabinets, sponge-painted walls and mirrored closets — with each team ultimately picking their perfect throwback in need of a major overhaul,” per the show’s official description.

Brian and Mika will serve as judges on the series, along with Drew Lachey, Mina Starsiak Hawk, Paige Davis, and Jonathan Adler. The show’s contestants include ’90s stars such as Brian Austin Green, Beverley Mitchell, Jodie Sweetin, Melissa Joan Hart, Matthew Lawrence, and Keshia Knight Pulliam. Jaleel White will host the series, while Carter Oosterhouse and Sabrina Soto will act as mentors for the teams. The winning team will earn bragging rights and $25,000 for their charity of choice.

Totally ’90s House, Series Premiere, Wednesday, August 26, 9/8c, HGTV
