Episode 1
James and Oliver Phelps (Harry Potter) raised the flag at the Scottish Highlands castle, signaling the new season. When Cumming introduced himself to the new cast, he told them that for every Traitor they sniff out and banish, an extra $15,000 will be added to the prize pot.
The Traitors: Joe, the funeral director, and Tomica, a pilot, were chosen as the Traitors. They were both excited to be in that position.
“One more player will soon join them. When? You’ll just have to wait and see,” Cumming said.
For the challenge, the contestants had to search crates in the water. The three with treasure chests in them were worth $10,000 each. They needed to find those chests, figure out how to open them, and bank them. The chests also contained part of a code that opened the Captain’s Safe. If they found that, an additional $20,000 could be banked. There were also three shields up for grabs. They banked the $50,000.
Shields: Victor, a business executive, Madeline, a construction manager, and Abby L, an astrophysicist, obtained safety with the shields.
Before the Traitors could murder their first victim, they had to choose two more Faithfuls to join them. “For the next 24 hours, they will be put through a series of tests to see if they have what it takes to impress you as a Traitor,” Cumming let them know. “At the end of that period, you will select one of them to join you. As for the other, they will face the cruelest of cuts, as you will murder them.”
Episode 2
The Accomplice Traitors: Xavier and Katie
The Traitor accomplices met with a masked “murder victim.” The victim was put in a coffin and sent down the river.
Murdered: Kim, a lawyer, from Houston, Texas
Banished: Madeline (Faithful) with 13 votes (Victor received seven and Kristie received one)
Blame was placed on Victor for going for a shield right away and Madeline for saying, “I feel bad for picking Kim.” Plus, they hung out together all the time and seemed to have developed crushes.
Accomplice Traitors Task: Katie and Xavier had to find the identical Crime and Punishment books in the castle that contained death warrants. Then, they had to deliver them to the Traitors in the turret face-to-face that night. If they failed to retrieve a warrant, they would be murdered.
They both tried to grab the warrant and nearly got caught. Find out who becomes the next Traitor and who gets murdered in Episode 3 next Thursday.

The accomplices came face to face with the Traitors. Xavier and Katie both obtained the Death Warrant, meaning The Traitors had to choose who to take on and who to Murder.
Murdered: Xavier
New Traitor: Katie
Challenge: The cast had to find the crypts and claim the gold by maneuvering a ram around the grounds and ramming into it to add $30,000 to their prize pot. Morgan and Arisa entered the first crypt and got $5,000.
Tomica and Clyde entered the second one. They had the option to take $10,000 or take $5,000 and give one of them a shield. Tomica let Clyde take the shield.
Michael and Dan entered the third one. They had the choice to take $15,000 or $5,000 along with secret Traitor information. They agreed to take the clue. The clue was “Last night, two players battled in plain sight to become a Traitor.” They banked $15,000 out of $30,000.
Players were suspicious of Arisa and Victor, as well as Katie. Niyyah pointed out that Arisa and Victor did a truth test and asked him if he was a Traitor. He said no, and she thought that was the recruitment in plain sight.
Kriste asked if Xavier could have been one, and he lost the battle, and maybe that’s why he’s not there anymore. The episode ended on a cliffhanger after Joe asked Jay whether he saw anyone’s body language change after admitting he was a body language expert.
Episode 4

When the episode began, Jay said he’d been having a tough day, so he couldn’t get a read on anyone. But others were pointing to Victor.
Banished: Arisa (Faithful) with 13 votes (Michael received one, Victor received six)
Murdered: Logan
Challenge: The players had to carry barrels of gold worth $24,000 through gates and figure out how to open them to get to the end of the trail. The Death Parade would be following behind them. Any of the players that the Death Parade caught would be short-listed for murder. Each gate was met with a sign that led to challenges, like leaving people behind.
Victor, Morgan, Mark, and Niyyah were left behind. Tomica and Kriste joined the cart on the second one. Sherry, Joe, Abby L, and Clyde all stayed back. Everyone who stayed back was eligible for murder, minus the Traitors.
The show ended with the round table, but no one was banished yet. The episode ended with Jay accusing Katie of being a Traitor.
Episode 5
Jay, Sherry, Katie, and Kriste were all accused by someone of being a Traitor.
Banished: Sherry (Faithful), with 11 votes (Michael with one vote, Jay had five)
The Traitors had to murder someone on the short list in plain sight. To do this, they had to locate the cursed apple in the kitchen and throw it to the victim. If they catch the apple, they will be murdered.
Joe grabbed the apple and tracked down Mark because he knew he could catch it. Joe asked Katie, and she said she wanted Morgan out because no one would suspect her. Morgan and Mark were right next to each other. Joe threw it to Morgan, and she did not catch it. Joe ate the apple, so Tomica got another one and offered one to Victor, and he ran away. Joe grabbed a second apple, and Victor got suspicious. It was not clear by the end of the segment if someone caught it.
Murdered: The murdered Faithful met their demise at a public wake. The shortlisted people waited behind their tombstones. They all entered their coffins. Names were called, and they were safe.
Mark, Niyyah, Clyde, and Joe were left at the end. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, but Joe is definitely safe.
Episode 6

Euan Cherry/NBC
Murdered: Niyyah. Joe, who was in the coffin next to her, revealed to her that he’s a Traitor and he didn’t have a choice. She was the closest one to throw the apple to. They played a mock football game, and she caught the apple. “Niyyah, I love you. I’m sorry,” he said. Faithfuls started to get suspicious of Joe and Tomica because they both offered people fruit.
Challenge: The contestants entered a room with pictures of heads of past players. They had to remember what the player said and then lower it to the other half of the contestants and relay what the head said. They had to match the scream with the ones in the graveyard and place the matching head on the matching tombstone. For every one they got right, they added $5,000 to the prize pot. They correctly placed four of them and earned the money.
Joe, Tomica, and Michael sat in a room to talk, and Victor thought that meant they were all Traitors. Michael thought that murdering Niyyah benefitted Victor. Katie tried to keep the blame on Michael.
Banished: Michael (Faithful) with eight votes (Victor and Wyatt received three, while Tomica received one vote)
Episode 7
Murdered: Mark
Challenge: Players had to rip open scarecrows to try to find bags of gold. They had to place the gold into the scarecrow with their name on it. However, they weren’t just playing for gold. They played for a huge new power, which could turn the entire roundtable on its head. Whoever had the most gold inside their barrel won the power. Some scarecrows had black hearts in them, which could be put in others’ barrels, which would disqualify them from winning, but also take away the gold they won.
Shane found a black heart and put it in Victor’s scarecrow, eliminating him from the game. Cylde found the second one and eliminated Morgan from the game. Abby L. placed the third one in Wyatt’s. Ben put his in Katie’s.
The group collected $15,300 after the other gold was blown up. The power would be revealed at the round table.
Banished: Victor (Faithful) received the most votes with five, but because of the power, he was spared for now (Tomica had three, Wyatt had two, Abby L., Morgan, and Katie all received one vote).
Power Winner/What It Is: The power is The Pardon, which gives the winner the choice to solely choose to banish the person who had the most votes or save them. Who won it will be revealed on the next episode.
