Regular civilians are taking over the castle for a new version of The Traitors, but one of them already had quite a following even more being announced as part of the cast. Morgan Cook, a contestant on The Traitors: New Blood, has already amassed more than 1 million followers on Instagram before the show’s September 17 premiere.

Who is Morgan Cook?
Morgan is a digital content creator who goes by Morgan Evelyn Cook online. She posts YouTube videos showing how she deals with overwhelming moments and more of life changes, often adding humorous elements to her vlogs.
Morgan previously worked as a recruiter at a financial services firm, but quit after one of the women on her team “dropped dead” and she realized she wanted to do something more. She took another job she thought she would enjoy, but was “miserable” and left after two months, then went back to the recruiting job part-time.
For four years, she worked as a part-time influencer and part-time recruiter, but quit the recruiting job in 2026. However, Morgan clarified that she didn’t quit to become a full-time influencer. “I quit so that I could spend time out in the real world doing something I actually enjoy,” she explained in a video, adding that her new position is “part-time at a small business.”
She noted that content creation pays her bills, and this side gig is just something she’s doing for enjoyment.
Morgan is also an avid mental health advocate and notes in her Instagram bio that she “supports mental health access.”
Is Morgan Cook in a relationship?
Yes, Morgan has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, David, for seven years. They were together for a year before the COVID-19 pandemic hit and they moved in together. In 2026, David, however, got his “dream job” and moved to a different state after six years of living with Morgan.
“David needed a change,” Morgan explained in a YouTube video. “He was completely burnt out at his job and had zero passion for what he was doing.” They are now navigating a long-distance relationship.
For the most part, Morgan has kept her relationship off of the internet, but she did address the critics who wonder why she and David aren’t engaged yet. “We are two adults who can communicate about when we want to get married and it’s not fight now,” Morgan said in a YouTube video.
Where does Morgan Cook live?
Morgan lives in Chicago. She decided not to move with David because she’s “not done” with Chicago yet.
“I’ve had some opportunities come up that I want to see through,” she explained. “I love it here. I’m in a really healthy place with my career and friends. This might be the most stable I’ve ever felt in my life.”
