Christina Haack & Ex Ant Anstead Share Emotional Tributes for Son’s Birthday

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead felt like proud parents on their son Hudson’s special day.

Haack and Anstead tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their only child together, Hudson, the following year before finalizing their divorce in 2021. Haack shares her eldest two kids, Taylor and Brayden, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. Anstead, for his part, shares his two elder children, Amelie and Archie, with his first wife, Louise.

The former spouses each took to Instagram on Sunday, September 6, to celebrate Hudson’s 7th birthday. “Happy 7 Birthday Hudson!! My sweet boy I adore you and your kind soul!!” Haack captioned her tribute. “Smart, adventurous, helpful, silly and a full on Virgo when it comes to organization. I am so lucky to be your mama!! We love you.”

The post’s first slide featured a sweet selfie Haack snapped with her youngest son. Other slides featured photos of Hudson hanging out with his older brother Brayden, as well as adorable images of Hudson with animals.

Anstead hopped in the post’s comments, writing, “We are doing a good job! X. Tarek’s wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, added, “Happy birthday sweet Hudson. we love you.”

Fans also shared their birthday wishes for Hudson, with one user writing, “Happy birthday Hudson. you are such a cutie! good job mom and dad!” Another added, “Wow! That went very fast. happy birthday handsome boy.” Someone else shared, “Wow, how is he 7 already Christina? Where do the years go? Happy Birthday Hudson.”

In a post of his own, Anstead shared a montage of pictures and clips of himself and Hudson over the years, including some photos and videos of Hudson spending time with Anstead’s girlfriend, Renée Zellweger. (Anstead and Zellweger have been dating since 2021.)

“Hudzo you were born with a light! An unmistakably GLOW around you! You shine with a beautiful blend of fun, cheekiness, love and so much kindness!” Anstead wrote. “You are an utterly brilliant boy and it is a privilege to watch you grow and thrive. I love being your father! Happy 7th birthday Hudzo. Keep on GLOWING! X.”

Underneath the post, one person posted, “Had to watch this twice. He’s such a joyful soul. Happy 7th Birthday Hudson!!” A separate commenter gushed, “He has your eyes! So sweet!” Another user wrote, “Happy birthday sweetie. He is growing up so fast. So handsome and always smiling. I hope he has a wonderful birthday.”

Last year, Haack and Anstead reunited in person for Hudson’s 6th birthday party. “Hudzo explained it’s his ‘golden birthday’ as he’s 6 on the 6th! Legend!” Anstead captioned snaps of himself and Haack at the event via Instagram. “Weekend celebrating our miracle boy with a CHAOS filled party we all gone need a lay down. Hudzo we love you. Xx.”

The exes reunited again for Hudson’s school holiday play in December 2025. “Ahhhh man! This time of year is the best!! Hudzo and his classmates CRUSHED this mornings Christmas gingerbread man performance!” Anstead gushed via Instagram. “He sang and narrated like a pro! Cutest….! Well done the entire class! X (oh and never trust a fox!) x.”
