HGTV Fans Gush Over Mina Starsiak Hawk’s Adorable Pics With ‘Mini-Me’ Daughter

Mina Starsiak Hawk is enjoying quality time with her kids this summer.

The HGTV star shares two kids with her husband, Steve Hawk, whom she married in 2016. The couple welcomed their eldest child, son Jack, in 2018, followed by their daughter, Charlotte, in 2020.

Starsiak Hawk frequently shares photos of her family via social media. In a recent Instagram post, she uploaded several sweet snaps of herself and Charlotte making funny faces at each other. “My mini-me,” she captioned the upload.

Fans gushed over the mother-daughter duo’s adorable photos in the post’s comments. “You two are gorgeous! I can’t believe how big she’s gotten! Such a special relationship,” one user wrote. Another added, “Beautiful mommy and daughter.” Someone else shared, “Awe beautiful pics mina, beautiful.” A separate commenter stated, “Lol she is a mini you and growing up so fast too.”

Several fans, however, argued that Charlotte resembles her dad more than her mom. “Mina maybe she has something else about you, but she looks like her Dad,” someone argued. A different person posted, “Charlie is beautiful, and so is Mina, but Charlie has her dad’s face.” Another user said, “No way…she looks just like her dad!!!”

Hawk, for his part, poked fun at his wife’s Instagram upload in the comments, writing, “Did you happen to take a picture of the GD game that your son was playing and husband was coaching?????”

Starsiak Hawk is best known for starring on HGTV’s Good Bones with her mother, Karen E. Laine. The series, which ran for nine seasons from 2016 to 2024, followed the pair as they transformed rundown properties into dream homes in their hometown of Indianapolis.

Starsiak Hawk has appeared on many HGTV shows over the years, including Brother vs. Brother, A Very Brady Renovation, Battle on the Beach, and House Hunters: All Stars. Earlier this year, she competed alongside former NFL player Vernon Davis on Season 7 of Rock the Block. The season marked the first time celebrities with home renovation and design experience teamed up with HGTV stars on the show.

Though the duo didn’t win the competition, Starsiak praised her partnership with Davis and friendships with the rest of the Season 7 cast in a May 28 Instagram post. “We made it y’all. Rock The Block Season 7 didn’t shake our how I’d hoped, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat with these people,” she wrote. “Legit couldn’t have had more fun with any other group of humans, production included!!!”

She continued, “And hey, maybe I’m a glutton for punishment but I’m not willing to quit till I get the big WIN. So it’s not goodbye to the Block, maybe just ‘see ya later.’”

Starsiak Hawk will return to HGTV later this month as a judge on the new series Totally ‘90s House. The competition series will see two teams of ‘90s stars go head-to-head to give homes frozen in the past a modern makeover.
