Jenna Bush Hager Shocked by Sheinelle Jones’ Surprising Hygiene Confession

Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones got very personal during their latest Today With Jenna & Sheinelle chat.

During the NBC series’ Tuesday, August 4, episode, Bush Hager and Jones reacted to Keke Palmer recently admitting on the Are You Okay? show that she doesn’t shave her legs frequently.

“We interviewed Keke. I talked to her about her legs, remember? I’m like, ‘Oh, my god. They look great. You do pilates.’ Remember?” Jones recalled of Palmer’s appearance on Jenna & Sheinelle last month. “Her legs are like, I don’t see any hair on them.”

Jones went on to admit, “I don’t shave. I don’t really shave. I can’t even remember the last time I shaved my legs. … I don’t get hair on my legs.”

The confession left Bush Hager so shocked that she asked to feel Jones’ leg. “Wow. She’s like a hairless cat,” she quipped before asking, “When was the last time you shaved?” Jones replied, “I can’t remember the last time I shaved my legs.”

Though Bush Hager described Jones’ legs as “silky smooth,” she called her co-host out for initially reacting negatively to Palmer’s no-shave confession. “If you grow hair and you don’t shave, it can be a lot,” Jones explained, adding that she recently went to lunch with someone who sported a lot of armpit hair. “I felt like the person that I went to lunch with, it had to have been a conscious decision that she doesn’t shave,” she said.

When asked if she said anything about the armpit hair, Jones told Bush Hager, “No. I don’t know why ‘cause normally I would. But just in case it was an accident and she didn’t have time [to shave], I didn’t want to bring it up.”

Bush Hager continued to gush over Jones’ smooth legs, stating, “I have to say, I am so jealous of how soft and hairless of a cat you are.” She went on to admit, “I shave every day, and I’m not gonna let you touch me. … I’m hairier than you, and I shaved this morning.”

Despite some protest, Bush Hager let Jones touch her legs to compare, after which Jones let out a laugh. “I was at the gym, OK? We just had those little razors, yeah, the disposable [ones],” Bush stated. “I cut myself multiple times.”

Tuesday’s episode of Jenna & Sheinelle marked Bush Hager’s first day back on the show after missing two episodes last week. The Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31, episodes of Jenna & Sheinelle were both prerecorded. Dylan Dreyer filled in for Bush Hager on the fourth hour of Today on Monday, August 3.
