On Sunday, August 2, the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman actress, 75, took to Instagram with an unexpected photo of herself and Nelson, 82.
“Look who I had the pleasure of catching up with… the wonderful Craig T. Nelson!” Seymour wrote alongside a red heart emoji. “Such a talented actor, a true gentleman, and always such a joy to spend time with. It was lovely seeing you, Craig!”
In the comments, folks loved catching a glimpse of Nelson, who is semi-retired and doesn’t post on social media. His Parenthood costar, Mae Whitman, declared, “My best friend!”

Nelson is best known for playing Hayden Fox in the sitcom Coach, Mr. Incredible in Pixar’s The Incredibles, Zeek Braverman in the 2010 series Parenthood, and more. Other notable acting credits include Poltergeist (1982), The District, The Family Stone (2005), and Young Sheldon.
Today, Nelson is semi-retired. He most recently reprised his Young Sheldon role as Dale Ballard in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2, and is set to return as the voice of the superhero family’s patriarch in The Incredibles 3, per IMDb.
In addition to Dr. Quinn, Seymour is known for her roles in the James Bond film Live and Let Die (1973), Somewhere in Time (1980), and Wedding Crashers (2005). She is currently starring in the TV series Harry Wild.
