‘Summer House’: Kyle Cooke Reveals Current Status With Amanda Batula After Split

It’s been nine months since Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula announced that they were separating after less than five years of marriage, and although she has since romantically moved on with fellow Summer House star West Wilson, she’s still legally married to Cooke.
“We’re trying to put a bow on the divorce,” Cooke told Swooon at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston. “Yeah, one day at a time.” Lindsay Hubbard clarified that the exes are “working on the formality of the divorce still.” Cooke and Batula have yet to file paperwork to make their split official.
“We’re still amicable,” the Loverboy founder said, while also hinting we’ll learn more about all of this on Season 2 of In the City. “We started filming…” Cooke pointed out. While Batula did not return for Season 11 of Summer House, it’s unclear whether she’ll be back for a second installment of In the City.

When we asked Cooke and Hubbard whether anyone wouldn’t be coming back, they laughed before Cooke said, “We can’t really speak to that,” and Hubbard added, “We can’t talk about that one!” Cooke hinted that some Season 1 cast members won’t be back, though. “Here’s the thing: It’s our hometown, so people sort of come and go,” he said, with Hubbard adding, “And everyone goes through different stages of life.”
Batula and Wilson went public with their romance in March, sparking outrage among the Summer House cast and fans due to how close Batula was with Wilson’s former fling Ciara Miller (not to mention Wilson and Cooke’s own friendship). In the aftermath of the scandal, Batula and Wilson did not return to the Hamptons for Season 11 of Summer House this year.
Instead, they have been continuing their romance away from the cameras, although they’ve kept fans updated with social media posts throughout the summer and fall.
