Megyn Kelly made a haunting comparison between Charlie Kirk‘s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, and convicted murderer Bryan Kohberger on the latest episode of her SiriusXM show.
The former Fox News host was commenting on the footage of Robinson’s movements at Utah Valley University before Kirk was shot while at a speaking event at the college on September 10, 2025. The video was played in court as the week-long preliminary hearing kicked off on Monday, July 6, in Utah.
“This guy’s giving Bryan Kohberger vibes with the multiple visits before, and even going back after midnight the day… that the evening of the crime, like after the crime was committed,” Kelly said on the Tuesday (July 7) edition of The Megyn Kelly Show.
Kohberger was convicted of murdering four University of Idaho students in the early hours of November 13, 2022. During the investigation, law enforcement found surveillance footage of Kohberger “stalking the neighborhood” where the murders took place.
Kelly compared the cases, noting how Robinson was caught on camera walking around the university on the morning of Kirk’s appearance. “He showed up at 8:30 a.m. the morning of Charlie’s appearance… he was there for an hour,” she stated, “They said it took him… he arrived at 8:30 and he left at 9:25, and in that time he went to the quad, and he made contact with a TP USA representative.”
The video played in court showed Robinson buying Chick-fil-A, making contact with Kirk’s staff, and then returning to campus in a different outfit. Upon his return, he was alleged to have assassinated the conservative activist.
Kelly’s comments come as the preliminary hearing is set to determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to try Robinson for aggravated murder. CBS News also reports that prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case.
