What To Know

  • Bill O’Reilly criticized Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly following their recent anti-Trump comments.
  • O’Reilly said his former Fox News colleagues are ‘personalities’ rather than ‘journalists.’
  • Both Kelly and Carlson have recently voiced strong criticisms of Donald Trump, particularly regarding his handling of the Iran war.

Bill O’Reilly slammed his former Fox News colleagues, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, on Tuesday (June 30) when asked about their recent criticisms of President Donald Trump.

Appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored, O’Reilly was asked for his thoughts on the likes of Carlson and Kelly, as well as people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who have started speaking out against Trump more often in recent months, especially regarding the Iran war.

“They’ve turned on Donald Trump, who’s turned on them as well, but there’s a real fracturing of the right in America,” Morgan said. “A lot of these are your former Fox News colleagues. What do you make of what’s happening here?”

O’Reilly said he “can’t speak for them as far as their motivation is concerned,” but added, “I can tell you that they’re not journalists. None of them are. They are personalities and very successful personalities.”

The former Fox News anchor said he backs up everything he says by “conversations with the president of the United States… or Pentagon, or Mossad… or wherever vehicle is going to give me information. And I pass that information along to my viewers and listeners.”

“I’m not in it for clicks,” he continued. “We make an extraordinary amount of money because we present a very, very methodical analysis of what is happening. We’re not involved with party politics, I couldn’t care less about the parties.”

As far as Trump’s war with Iran, O’Reilly said, “I want the United States and every other country to have an element of safety against these terrorists in Iran… And if you get an opportunity to take them out, you do it. Trump thought he had an opportunity. It’s harder than I believe he thought it was going to be. I know that’s true. Doesn’t mean you give up.”

Back in May, Kelly and Carlson criticized Trump’s war with Iran during an episode of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show. Responding to reports about a potential peace deal, Kelly said, “I have no idea whether there’s a 14-point deal or not. None whatsoever. I don’t trust a word President Trump says about this anymore.”

She added, “He’s told us 31 times that the Iran war is over, okay? Only to then tweet about how we’re going to bomb them into oblivion.”

Carlson stated, “I noticed that every time Axios announces an imminent end to the war, a lot of people make huge bets on oil futures right before it comes out and presumably make a lot of money on that, and then it never happens.”

Kelly continued to air her frustrations with the administration earlier this week, calling out the Trump family for their “grifty” nature.

“I don’t feel great about our leaders, I’m not going to lie. I’m disappointed with some aspects of the Trump presidency for sure, like the Iran war, that’s number one,” she said on her show. “It’s so grifty, I’m not going to lie, it’s grifty. You know, the Trump family is grifty. There’s been like story after story about all the money his sons are making off of the government, these government contracts they’re getting, all that.”

She went on, “I can’t stand that stuff, and I love his sons, okay? So I say this as a true fan of theirs, but I didn’t like it when Hunter Biden was doing it, and I don’t like it when the Trumps are doing it.”

If it was up to Tucker Iran would have the bomb, what gets me is his main reason is he is scared to death of his kids being drafted,he is so short sighted, if something wasn't done about Iran there would be no kids left to draft.
