High Potential‘s third season may not arrive until 2027, but the fans are making their stance clear when it comes to the lengthy wait time, and it’s that they’re remaining loyal to Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson) and the LAPD crew she consults for. And why wouldn’t they be?
Sure, it may be a longer wait than normal to see their favorite characters onscreen, but High Potential is one of the top network dramas for a reason, and a few extra months waiting for the Season 3 premiere isn’t gonna scare off viewers. When we polled our readers about whether or not they plan to tune into the series when it finally comes back in 2027, the sentiment was clear.
At least forty-one percent of our readers are counting down the days until the show’s return, with plans to watch the drama when it resumes following Season 2’s cliffhanger conclusions. As viewers will recall, the LAPD’s new captain, Nick Wagner (Steve Howey) was stabbed in a park, leaving his fate uncertain, and meanwhile, the possibility of Roman’s return loomed.

The second-highest answer provided by readers said they’d plan to tune in, but they’re currently trying to forget how long the wait is going to be for Season 3. The bottom line is, the majority of viewers are likely to pick the show back up. Meanwhile, five percent of fans claimed they’d only tune in to see how Season 2’s cliffhangers are resolved before probably stopping their viewing of the series.
Nine percent claimed they might tune in, but it isn’t a sure bet, and a mere five percent claimed they won’t wait this long for High Potential‘s third season to arrive.

The problem is that you are breaking the show's momentum. This could backfire. High Potential is a unique show. There is nothing more attractive than a beautiful woman with brains. I hope we get to meet Morgan's father this season.

I’ll wait but not happy about it. I don’t understand why you, ABC feels the need to wait until 2027. I think you may lose some of the audience because they will find other shows during that time that they get hooked on and forget High Potential. I will definitely watch it just not happy have to wait so long. I really hope that Morgan and Detective Karadec get together. There is chemistry there.

Guess ABC is trying to kill the show. Had good momentum with a cliff hanger end to season 2. Waiting a year, imo, kills the show. Ppl forget and will not care. A year wait is way to long. Poor decision on ABC's part.

Yep, I’m going to wait. What else can I do? I’ll just try to forget about the show and be surprised when it’s back. And I hate to say it but, they need to just kill off Captain or, if he survives, have him retire. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE OLDE GODS AND NEW, DO NOT BRING HIM BACK, WITH A NEW ACTOR! THAT’S THE WORST!!
