What To Know

  • MS NOW will launch a new weekday lineup on June 15, introducing new shows hosted by Stephanie Ruhle, Alicia Menendez, and others.
  • Ruhle’s Money, Power, Politics will air weekdays from 9 to 11 am ET, while Menendez will anchor On the Line from 12 to 2 pm ET.
  • Additional programming includes The Moment with Katy Tur, The 11th Hour with Ali Velshi, and Connect with Jacob Soborof.

MS NOW is set to debut its new weekday lineup on Monday, June 15, featuring brand-new shows from Stephanie Ruhl, Alicia Menendez, Katy Tur, Ali Velshi, and more.

Ruhle, the network’s senior business analyst, will host the new weekday morning show, Money, Power, Politics with Stephanie Ruhle, airing from 9 to 11 am ET Monday through Friday. The show will replace the fourth hour of Morning Joe and Ana Cabrera Reports; in March, Cabrera took to social media to reveal she had decided to leave MS NOW.

According to the official press release, Money, Power, Politics will combine The 11th Hour’s hard-hitting news coverage with a new take on the show’s signature Nightcap round table. It will feature marquee guests analyzing the day’s news. Patrick McMenamin will serve as the executive producer of the show, which will be based in New York.

Menendez will anchor On the Line with Alicia Menendez, airing weekdays from 12 to 2 pm ET. The show will be the network’s go-to source during the day for the latest stories, including developments in Washington and around the country, ahead of the upcoming midterm election season.

On the Line will also be based in New York, with Marti Hause serving as the program’s executive producer.

Other shows in the new lineup include The Moment with Katy Tur, airing from 2 to 4 pm ET; The 11th Hour with Ali Velshi, airing weekdays at 11 pm ET; and Connect with Jacob Soborof, airing from 10 am to 1 pm ET Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition, Symone Sanders Townsend and Michael Steele will be joined by new co-anchor Luke Russert on The Weeknight, airing weekdays at 7 pm ET. The show, based in Washington, D.C., is executive produced by Kyle Griffin.

The network has yet to announce a debut date for Peter Alexander’s new 11 am weekday show. Alexander announced he’d be moving over to MS NOW from NBS News back in March.

Ali Velshi & Stephanie Ruhle used to co-host an outstanding show at 9 a.m. ET. Ruhle will do great at that hour & Velshi (who is also fantastic) will also do wonderfully taking over the 11th Hour show.

I might just watch the Weeknight without Alicia and will have free time from noon - 2! Can't stand her voice and the annoying over-annunciation.

It seems as though her show will stay in the 4-6 slot.

Don’t think Stephanie will be as effective early in the morning. Ali Velshi is too strident to run the 11th Hour. CNN will improve their late night viewership due to these changes.

Stephanie used to have an early morning show with Ali, and it did pretty good because of her emphasis on financial matters. Ali fills in for Lawrence quite often in the evenings and seems to do ok, I will be interested to see what his later show is like.

Stephanie Ruhle's new morning show is a step up from Morning Joe, that lhas turned into a magazine format. Ruhle is in a class by herself...knows how to combine politics, business and world affairs with informed guest. The move to morning sets a round table of intelligent and straight talking engaging guests. I'm sure those that were faithful views each late night are tapping or fitting time in their morning to get their fill of the best most up to the minute news that effect their day. Keep up the great work Stephanie. We need you, Rachael, Chris, and Velshi more than ever.

I’ve been wondering when Ali Velshi would get his own weeknight show! He is thorough has a sense of humor and is so smart. He was caring and brave to report live from Ukraine and he brought us the less talked about subject of banned books.

She is becoming chief political correspondent. I'm guessing she'll be in DC except perhaps when there's a major election coming soon.

I will miss Stephanie at 8 pm( West Coast) sooooo much! I never miss it! It’s the only time I settle in for the evening. Having her on at 6AM for us Californians is a little rough!
