‘The Floor’: Season 6 Premiere Date Announced With Champions Theme & New Twists
It won’t be long until fans are seeing Rob Lowe back on their TVs for another season of The Floor. The game show was renewed for two more seasons, and the Season 6 premiere date was just announced. Plus, a new twist is set to stomp into the Fox competition and what the Season 6 theme will be.
The Floor is a game show where 100 contestants stand on squares on the floor. They each have an expert category in which they duel someone else. Whoever wins that duel wins both pieces of the floor and continues on in the game.
The goal is to win every piece of the floor by continuing to win duels. Whoever wins the whole thing takes home $250,000. In each episode, the contestant who has the most spaces on the floor wins $20,000. The contestant who wins the most duels that episode can also choose from the Time Boost or Category Steal.
Season 5 included The Territory Freeze, which froze the contestant who had the most squares halfway through the season until everyone had dueled. Eric won that, but he didn’t win the game with it. That honor went to Lauren Samet.

When will Season 6 of The Floor premiere?
The Floor Season 6 will premiere on Wednesday, September 23 at 8/7c on Fox. A press release shared that this season will be a “Champions” theme. It is not clear if it will be competitors from past seasons or champions in other things like sports, chess, etc.
Season 7 will most likely air in the spring of 2027, if the pattern follows suit.

Rob Lowe is back as host for Season 6, and he’ll also be the leading man in Season 7.

In-season, the game show airs on Fox and is available the next day on Hulu. Past seasons can also be watched on the streamer.
What are the twists for The Floor Season 6?
The Power Shot will be the new twist this season. Essentially, it allows one contestant to become the human randomizer.

They actually time screwed the first guy who had all the areas especially when the one guy wasn’t saying the entire name against him. Then they tried to screw him again with the time and then the guy who beat him supposedly actually said the last thing before the end of time n he got screwed. They are picking the winners obviously and having who they want win. They are cheating the contestants that are legitimately winning. Then they have an underage person win cuz that’s who they wanted to win they need to watch the show again and see how they manipulated the time
