Fox News: Jessica Tarlov Slams Greg Gutfeld & Jesse Watters Over ‘Morally Bankrupt’ Trump

Fox News host Jessica Tarlov was hit from all sides on Wednesday’s (May 6) episode of The Five as her colleagues demanded to know why she and other liberals have a problem with people liking President Donald Trump.

Greg Gutfeld stirred up the drama when he said, “I’m okay with you hating Trump, why aren’t you okay with me liking him? If you could just look in the mirror and answer that question, liberals, you would feel so much better.”

Host Jesse Watters then turned the question to Tarlov, the show’s resident Democrat voice. “Do you have a theory why liberals care so much about that other people might like Trump?” he asked.

“Because he’s like a completely morally bankrupt person that’s imposing all of these…” Tarlov started before Gutfeld cut her off, shouting, “But why should you care that I like him? Why should you care?”

“I have accepted that you like him,” Tarlov replied. “But I think it’s hard for people when they care about someone to say…”

Gutfeld again interrupted, saying, “Woah woah woah. This is the perfect thing. Why do they care? Tell me why.”

Tarlov tried to make the point that people care because someone liking Trump means them voting for Trump, which “leads to bad policies… that makes life harder for…”

The panel didn’t want to hear this, though, as they continued to shout Tarlov down. Watters then redirected the argument back to what Tarlov said about Trump being “morally bankrupt,” saying, “She is misdiagnosing. It has nothing to do with morality.”

“Of course it does,” Tarlov replied.

Watters said the Democrats “don’t support standards of morality,” adding, “You can do drugs. You can be homeless. You can hit people, rape people, let other murderers into the country. You can do all kinds of things. They don’t judge. They don’t judge!”

Tarlov tried to speak, but others continued to talk over her, including host Paul Mauro, who said, “They’re gonna let the Son of Sam out of jail.” Meanwhile, Gutfeld laughed at the chaos he’d caused.

“You guys got evangelicals to support a guy who has cheated on every single wife he has had,” Tarlov said when she finally managed to get out a sentence uninterrupted.

“But who cares if I like him?” Gutfeld retorted.

“I’ve said I don’t care,” Tarlov answered. “I have accepted it.”

“No, but why do your peers… I am doing a Scott Jennings. Get your finger out of my face!” Gutfeld quipped, referencing Jennings’ F-bomb blow up on CNN’s NewsNight last week.
