Who Is Joshua Orpin? All About ‘The Forsytes’ Hunk’s Background, Love Life & More

It’s time to lock in, romantic period drama enthusiasts. The Forsytes is PBS Masterpiece’s latest contribution to the genre, and it may offer some of the network’s most swoonworthy love stories to date. Inspired by John Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga, this new take on the fictional stockbroking family isn’t like others we’ve seen before, taking place before the events of the book. It’s also far less buttoned-up, promising to appeal to fans of Bridgerton, which means it has some Victorian era hunks to obsess over.

The Forsytes, which comes from the creators of Poldark, offers not just one romantic lead, but two. Opposite Danny Griffin‘s Jolyon Forsyte Jr. — who could very well give Benedict Bridgerton a run for his money — is Joshua Orpin‘s Soames Forsyte.
