Suits, “Enough Is Enough” (Wednesday, Jan. 28, 10/9c, USA Network)

What’s in a name? Plenty, if it’s going on the firm’s letterhead. As this winning legal drama resumes its fourth season, ambitious Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman in the role of a lifetime) becomes a name partner, alongside an uneasy Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).

Having successfully leveraged his discovery of Mike’s fraud, Louis goes into full gloat mode, which hardly becomes him, but does he care? Not now that his dream has come true, even if it’s everyone else’s nightmare—especially true for Mike (Patrick J. Adams), who takes the brunt of Louis’s rage when he lays down the new law. “Why would I fire you when I can break you?” Louis taunts the faux lawyer, assigning him grunt work in hopes he’ll resign. The midseason premiere, directed by Macht, is an explosive tour de force for Hoffman, as Louis seizes and learns the limits of his new power.
