William Shatner Gives Health Update After Hospital Visit: ‘I Overindulged’

“Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!,” wrote a playful William Shatner on his Instagram page, reassuring his worried fanbase after reports that he had been rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency.

The 94-year-old Star Trek legend accompanied the post with a still from his guest appearance on the CBS series Murdoch Mysteries, in which he portrayed Mark Twain. Using the image as a tongue-in-cheek response, the one-time T.J. Hooker star made it clear he was very much alive and well, and aimed to calm the masses with a bit of humor.
